This is because sweaters in darker shades may require more dye which can compromise the soft texture of the wool. Another factor to look for is the length of the fiber. Longer fiber pills less than shorter fiber. Pilling is when your sweater develops tiny fuzzy balls. While all cashmere will probably develop pills at some point you can get a depilling comb to remove them.

Choosing the best cashmere sweater for your budget is a matter of comparison shopping. You'll find that the average ladies cashmere sweater costs between $150 and $300 depending on the manufacturer. You may find cashmere at a cheaper price, especially if the sweater is on sale or clearance. One way to obtain lower priced cashmere apparel is by shopping online with sites like Ebay or even checking with local secondhand shops. If you need to wash your cashmere sweater, do so by hand using a basin of water and gentle fine garment detergent. Never put cashmere in the dryer as it should always be dried by hand. The right care will keep your luxurious sweater in fine shape for a long time.
